A video device for displaying video on a screen can perform enlargement and contraction of an image displayed by moving the video device and moving a user's face toward the screen. An image holding unit holds information on the image displayed. A movement detection unit detects movement of the video device. A position detection unit detects the position of the user. A pixel conversion display unit reads out image information from the image holding unit and cuts out a predetermined range of the image information according to the movement information detected by the movement detection unit and the position information detected by the position detection unit and displays the range after enlarging or contracting it.
