PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning tool for an optical fiber ferrule which can cope with an optical ferrule more easily than a conventional one even if a peripheral gap of the optical fiber ferrule is small in an optical connector, concretely, which can easily cope with the ferrule almost without reducing cleaning performance of the cleaning member and mechanical strength of a shaft body, moreover, which can clean the side face and tip face of the optical fiber ferrule surer and easier. SOLUTION: The cleaning tool for the optical fiber ferrule of this invention is characterized by comprising cleaning members 2 consisting of bottomed cylindrical bodies having an open end at one end and a bottom part 3 at the other end, and the shaft body 1 whose end parts are coupled to the outsides of the bottoms 3 of the cleaning members 2 consisting of these bottomed cylindrical bodies.
