PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce load required in the case of variable valves in a variable valve train of an internal combustion engine for changing a lift and an operating angle of intake valves or exhaust valves. SOLUTION: The variable valve train 10 for changing the lift and the operating angle of valve bodies 12 of the internal combustion engine comprises a cam 54 rotating in accordance with rotation of a crank, a first arm member 24 having a concave shaped roller contact surface 28 on which a roller 50 receiving operating force of the cam 54 rolls, swinging arms 22 provided on the first arm member 24 and oscillated by rolling of the roller 50 to transmit the operating force of the cam 54 to the valve bodies 12, a control shaft 40 adjusted to a predetermined rotation position and a variable mechanism for changing the lift and the operating angle of the valve body 12 by varying an oscillating range of the swinging arms 22 in accordance with the rotation position of the control shaft 40.
