PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a grease trap so that ventilated air does not flow backward in a room, by securing ventilation so that a space in a connecting drain pipe is not pressurized and decompressed. SOLUTION: This grease trap has a grease separating part 11 for freely separating the oil content from flowing-in waste water, and a trap part 10 for sealing water between the grease separating part 11 and the downstream drain pipe 13, in a body casing 6. A ventilating branch port 12a of the drain pipe 13 is arranged in a trap pipe 12 of the trap part 10, and a communicating port 16 for communicating a branch ventilation pipe 14 connected to the branch port 12a with an external ventilation pipe 15, is arranged in a peripheral wall part 6a of the body casing 6.
