PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an uplifting preventive device for a monorail branch capable of preventing the branch from overturning even if an earthquake load with a large horizontal load (0.9G for instance) acts thereon and having a structure capable of being attached to an existing branch. SOLUTION: Horizontally protruding holding seats 7a, 7b are provided at the front and rear ends in a travelling direction of a truck 2 mounting a branch girder 1, and a second stopper covering on the holding seats 7a, 7b at the initial end stop position of the truck 2 is provided. Second stoppers 9a, 9d are provided in response with the front and rear end holding seats 7a, 7b of the terminal stop position to cover the holding seats 7a, 7b.
