PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projecting glass window capable of opening or closing only the glass window when its wire screen is used together with the glass window but both the glass window and wire screen are operated together when the wire screen is not used. SOLUTION: In the outward projecting glass window having both glass window 3 and its wire screen 4, the glass window 3 has turning levers 6 and 7 with the one end side supported in a turnable manner by a window frame 2 and other end side connected in a turnable manner to the glass window 3, an operating handle 5 for opening or closing the glass window, and a linking groove 12 extended along the glass window frames 3a, 3b and a latch mechanism 21 with one end side of the screen 4 linked to the window frame 2 in a turnable and slidable manner and the other end side attachable to and detachable from the linking groove 12. When the latch member 23 of the latch mechanism 21 is linked to the linking groove 12, the screen 4 can be opened or closed by an interlocked manner with the glass window 3; and when they are not interlocked, only the glass window 3 can be opened or closed.
