PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen generator and a cartridge for oxygen generator, simply handled, causing no problem in environmental destruction, and inhaling oxygen at low cost. SOLUTION: This oxygen generator includes: a body closed with a seal and replaceably storing the cartridge enclosing aqueous hydrogen peroxide; and a lid provided with a fracture part removably connected to close an opening surface of the cartridge storing space of the body, and holding metal catalyst, which breaks the seal of the cartridge stored in the cartridge storing space when it is mounted and enters the aqueous hydrogen peroxide to generate oxygen due to contact with the aqueous hydrogen peroxide, and a nozzle for jetting oxygen collected on the upper part of the cartridge. The aqueous hydrogen peroxide is enclosed in the cartridge, and the upper opening is closed with a seal broken by the breaking part of the lid. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
