PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide laminated glass which has high strength and heat resistance, is inexpensive and excellent in security performance and a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The laminated glass 11 is constituted in such a way that an intermediate film 12 is provided between two plate glasses 1 and 2 and is formed by disposing resin film layers 3 and 4 on both surfaces of a PET layer 2. Each of the resin film layers 3 and 4 is formed from an EVA film having 150μm thickness. The PET layer 6 is formed by laminating and melt-bonding a plurality of PET films each having 100μm thickness to have≥400μm thickness as a whole. Each PET film can be melt-bonded at a temperature equal to or below the melting point by applying low temperature plasma treatment to the melt-bonded surfaces (both surfaces). The laminated glass 11 is manufactured by laminating and arranging the EVA film constituting the resin film layers 3 and 4 and the plurality of the PET films constituting the PET layer 6, heating and pressing using a hot press and melt-bonding the whole in block.
