DISPENSING DEVICE FOR STEEL CASTING AND THE LIKE

Dispensing device for steel casting and the like, showing a first refractory element (4) having a through opening (4a) placed in correspondence of a runoff nozzle (3) of the steel casting and a second refractory element (7) associated with the first refractory element (4) and showing a respective through opening (7a). The second element (7) is movable between a first position, wherein the respective openings (4a, 7a) of the first and the second element (4, 7) are coincident and define a passage gap of said casting, and a second position, wherein the respective openings (4a, 7a) are moved apart one from the other in order not to allow the passage of the casting. It is also foreseen a pushing means (18) acting on said second refractory element (7) for keeping the second element itself (7) abutted against the first element (4).
