The device according to the invention is intended for contouring dental matrices made of plastic or metal sheet, especially in the cervical region. It comprises a pincer-like basic structure having two jaws (4, 5) which each carry a cutting edge (8, 9) on their upper edge. The cutting edges (8, 9) can either run toward one another at an acute angle, the cutting effect thereby being achieved by clamping of the material, or they can run past one another, a shearing effect being obtained. <IMAGE> |
