<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power supply for use in a generator in which a system voltage rise is suppressed even when the generator is installed concentrically in an area, the optimal control of a supply voltage to a load is carried out, only surplus supply power or surplus generated power is used for the recovery charging of a storage battery and the recovery charging can be carried out efficiently and effectively. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply comprises a power generating means 1, a full-bridge converter 6 for outputting generated power to an AC power supply, a full-bridge inverter 7 and a series transformer 10 for regulating a load voltage, a main circuit control section 11 for controlling the full-bridge converter 6 and the full-bridge inverter 7, and a capacitor 8 and a power storage means 12 connected in parallel with the full-bridge converter 6 wherein a recovery charging control means 13 performs the recovery charging of the storage battery in the power storage means 12 only with power regenerated from the series transformer 10 through the full-bridge inverter 7 when the voltage of the AC power supply 2 is higher than a set level and the generated power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
