<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover lubricating oil led to flow out from a crank chamber to a low pressure side through a communicating passage, for capacity control. <P>SOLUTION: Lubricating oil is recovered by providing a lubricating oil separation mechanism in the communicating passage arranged between a housing and a cylinder block.
