<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise generated when a channel is switched in a multi-channel current output type driver circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-channel current output type driver circuit has a plurality of current output circuits, a single control circuit for controlling the current output circuits so that the current output circuits output predetermined current values, and a selection circuit for selecting one of the plurality of current output circuits and connecting the selected current output circuit with the control circuit. Each of precharge circuits having the same structure and outputting currents smaller than those of the current output circuits is provided in each of the current output circuits.
