PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin molded product with a decorative pattern capable of uniformly achieving gloss-reducing properties according to planning (1), making hard to suffer from damage and making the damage inconspicuous even if the damage occurs (2), making a weld mark or a sink mark inconspicuous (3) and having good touch feeling (4). SOLUTION: A resist, wherein numberless mask parts or hole parts are regularly arranged in a surface extending state, is bonded to the molding surface 11 of a mold 10 for molding a resin. The exposed molding surface 11 of the mold is etched by soaking with an etching solution to remove the resist 52. By a series of these operations, a gloss-reducing processing part comprising fine protruded parts 17 or fine recessed parts is formed at a place where the mask parts or hole parts are present.
