PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an "on-board electronic device" capable of displaying information, that a user desired, on the suitable display section selected from a plurality of display sections. SOLUTION: The on-board electronic device 1, which is equipped with a main display section 3, a left-side display section 4, a right-side display section 5, and an upper-side display section 6, has a state detecting means detecting states of a vehicle and a display controlling means selecting, at least, one display section from a plurality of the aforementioned display sections based on the state detecting means to display the desired data on a selected display section.
