PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handsfree device which is possible to perform selective handsfree conversation of a headset type or a cradle type. SOLUTION: The handsfree device comprises a plurality of headsets 10-1 to 10-4 which are possible to perform radio communication with a portable telephone 50, and a cradle 20 which is possible to accommodate the each headset. The handsfree device can select both scenes of the handsfree communication by the headsets 10, and the handsfree communication by the cradle 20 in a condition that the portable telephone 50 is put into a bag or a pocket because the portable telephone 50 and the headset 10 are connected by a radio connection 60.
