PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire insulation displacement device and a wire insulation displacement method capable of continuously cutting, bending, and insulation-displacing the wire in one process, improving manufacturing efficiency of an insulation displacement connector, reducing manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The wire insulation displacement device comprises a connector holder 24 holding a connector housing 22 of the insulation displacement connector 20; an insulation displacement blade 30 ascending/descending movement freely arranged on the connector holder 24, insulation-displacing a wire 21 on an insulation displacement terminal 26 of the connector 20; and a wire cutting/bending mold 34 arranged at one side of the connector holder, having a lower mold 36 supporting the wire, and an upper mold 38 cutting and bending the wire. The lower mold 36 has receiving blades 44, 45 cutting the wire 21, and the upper mold 38 has cutting blades 48, 49 cutting the wire 21, and a bending part 50 bending the terminal part of the wire at the connector holder 24 side.
