PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a plasma display panel capable of forming, on a substrate, a complicated barrier pattern with a perfect shape without containing air bubbles in the barrier by evenly transferring the barrier in a reduced-pressure atmosphere; and to provide its manufacturing device. SOLUTION: This application provides this manufacturing method for executing a process for positioning a substrate and a transferring die in a reduced-pressure atmosphere with the substrate and the transferring die faced to each other in parallel, a process for sticking the substrate and the transferring die to each other with non-solidified paste sandwiched therebetween, a paste filling process for pressurizing it with atmospheric pressure, and a paste solidifying process, and thereby forming the barrier with uniform height without deforming the substrate nor the transferring die or without containing air bubbles.
