A live and on-demand broadcast system for simultaneous parallel delivering/receiving images/videos with an extremely simple operation realizes simultaneous viewing by many people. The system comprises a delivering device, a receiving device, and a managing device. The delivering device has means for creating transmission information including at least one of still image information, moving image information, sound information, and text information over a network, means for encoding the created transmission information, means for inputting management information including an address and a password, and means for transmitting the coded transmission information and/or the management information to the managing device. The receiving deice has means for inputting a password and the storage address of a desired content, means for transmitting the inputted password and storage address information to the managing device, means for receiving the coded transmission information from the managing device over the network, means for decoding the received information, and means for reproducing the decoded information. The managing device has means for receiving the information to be transmitted, means for authenticating the managing information in the received information, means for storing the coded transmission information in the received information if the information is authenticated as the one transmitted from transmitting device having the authenticated right, and means for delivering the transmission information stored at the storage address in the received information in the form of subdivisions to the receiving device if the information is authenticated as the one transmitted from a transmitting device having the authenticated right. |
