摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game apparatus where a specific object such as a player character can be displayed at all times without damaging the atmosphere of a game field as far as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A character object CH1 is projected first on a screen plane, and drawing is carried out with a circular area with the position of the character object CH1 projected on the screen plane as a center as a mask area. Picture data obtained like this is stored in a main memory as mask data, and utilized when drawing each object in a virtual game space. A transmission flag is set previously to respective field objects OB1 to OB3.
