PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge which is integrated in an ink filling function and a supply function to prevent leakage of ink and is easy to degass, and which is reduced in load on the environment by the reduction of the volume (decrease in volume) of used waste ink cartridges. SOLUTION: The ink cartridge 1 comprises a flexible ink bag 2, an ink supply port 3 mounted to the ink bag 2, and an ink bag cover 4 covering 20 to 30% of the flat surface of the ink bag 2. The ink bag 2 is formed of a layer structural film composed of a polyethylene film, an aluminum film and a nylon film, the front surface of the inner-most layer polyethylene film having a mesh-like air passage. A filling seal comprising a sealing material and a supply seal comprising a sealing material fitted to the outside of the filling seal are integrated and fitted to the ink supply port 3, enabling degassing the ink bag with a vacuum pressure of less than -65 Kpa.
