PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with an excessive suspending/press-fitting device while eliminating uneconomical property of an auxiliary construction method (a substitution method) in a well construction method for constructing a cylindrical structure underground. SOLUTION: The cylindrical structure 2 is suspended and supported in a shaft 16 by air bags 17 as a measure to prevent settlement caused by the self-weight of the cylindrical structure 2 in excavating the whole or a part of the ground inside and at a lower region of the cylindrical structure 2 while constructing the cylindrical structure 2 with a plurality of cylindrical bodies 1, and repeating settlement by the self-weight of the cylindrical structure 2 or press-fitting by a machine to construct the predetermined cylindrical structure 2 underground.
