PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save labor by reducing the difficulties in work for installing a condenser. SOLUTION: A method for installing the condenser 1 has a process for installing turbine pedestal pillars 2 of a steel plate concrete structure to erect them, a process for mounting guide rails 9, 10 and 11 extending in the vertical direction on the surface of the steel plates of the turbine pedestal pillars 2, a protrusion installation process for attaching protrusions 12 guided along the guide rails 9, 10 and 11 to the side of the condenser 1 and a condenser installation process for installing the condenser 1 between the turbine pedestal pillars 2 by lowering the condenser 1 from above so that the protrusions can move along the guide rails.
