The process comprises reaction of compounds of general formula (IIa) (R is up to 4C alkyl radical) with cpds. of general formula (IIb), (X is halo, R' is H or up to 4C alkyl radical, and R" is up to 4C alkyl radical). The reaction is followed by alkaline hydrolysis to give derivs. of general formula (I) (sic) (R' and R" are independently H or up to 4C alkyl radical) and their pharmaceutical salts.
