The container box has a cover and a base made of plastics or similar material, and an extractor mechanism. A tray, which supports a compact disc, slides along a rail arranged on the base. The extractor mechanism has two flexible path tongue portions arched to guide the compact disc in the container box, and to fix the compact disc to the tray. The base and cover are formed to conform the insertion and extraction of compact discs. The tray has a protrusion inserted through the center aperture of the compact disc.
