<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a WDM filter that becomes usable for a shorter wavelength band by employing an optical waveguide composed of an epoxy material for the WDM filter. <P>SOLUTION: The WDM filter is characterized in that it is equipped with: an optical waveguide 76 that is connected between a common port 72 and a plurality of input/output ports 73, 74 and that is made of a rectangular epoxy material in which the cross section of the core is composed of sides 7-15 μm respectively; and filters that are installed in the optical waveguide 76, transmit a plurality of signals of different wavelengths each inputted from the input/output ports 73, 74 to the common port 72, and also transmit the plurality of signals of different wavelengths inputted from the common port to the plurality of input/output ports 73, 74 so as to correspond to the ports 73, 74, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
