<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing noise from being emitted, when an image support is rotated in reverse, without increasing the cost. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device, which comprises an image carrier (photoreceptor) 1 and a cleaning member (cleaning blade) 5 that cleans the surface of the image support, and that conducts reversing operation on the image carrier 1 at the completion of the imaging, is such that the rotational speed of the image carrier 1 when the image carrier 1 is rotated normally, is made different from its rotational speed when the image carrier 1 is rotated in reverse. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
