<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent food and drink sufficiently decreased in not only astringency felt at first when holding polyphenol in the mouth but also bitterness remaining in the mouth afterward. <P>SOLUTION: The food and drink containing polyphenol at high concentration is almost free from astringency of polyphenol and uncomfortable bitterness remaining in the mouth afterward and ingestible in large quantities through including cyclodextrin and cyclofructan at a certain specific ratio based on polyphenol. It is possible to further effectively demonstrate excellent physiological effect which polyphenol has, for instance, antioxidative effect, antibacterial/bacteriostatic action, inhibitory action of cholesterol increase, inhibitory action of blood pressure increase, inhibitory action of blood sugar increase by increasing the intake of the food and drink. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
