摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technique highly safe to biological body and improved in the ability to transfect a nucleic acid into a target cell. <P>SOLUTION: The new technique comprises the following: A &beta;-1,3-glucan having a combination of cell membrane-permeable functional groups( e.g. galactose, glucose) and lipid membrane-disruptive functional groups( e.g. polyethylene glycol, cyclodextrin), or, a &beta;-1,3-glucan having cell membrane-permeable functional groups and a &beta;-1,3-glucan having lipid membrane-disruptive functional groups, is(are) dissolved in aprotic polar solvent or alkaline solvent followed by mixing in the presence of water and a nucleic acid to be transfected to form a conjugate of the nucleic acid and the &beta;-1,3-glucan(s), and the conjugate is administered to a target cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
