<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source device for a vehicle equipped with a battery which is cooled using open air outside the vehicle inhaled in a battery case, wherein moisture of the open air is separated effectively and the dried air is supplied to the battery case in order to prevent evils such as a corrosion by the moisture, an electric leakage by the moisture, a reduction in an insulation resistance by the moisture and so on effectively. <P>SOLUTION: The battery 1 contained in the battery case 2 of the power source device for the vehicle is so cooled that the open air outside the vehicle is sent to the battery case 2 which houses the battery 1. The power source device has a suction duct 5 connected to the battery case 2, which inhales the open air outside the vehicle. The suction duct 5 has a stand-up portion 5A which makes the open air inhaled flow upwards. Moreover, the suction duct 5 has at the stand-up portion 5A or on a duct entrance side in relation to the stand-up portion 5A a filter member 25 consisting of numberless air gaps in a three-dimensional arrangement which pass the open air to supply it to the battery case 2 through the filter member 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
