<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel for use in various electronic devices and a manufacturing method thereof that facilitate low cost manufacture. <P>SOLUTION: Spacers 15 are substantially L-shaped. A plurality of spacers 15 are formed in an array in a predetermined direction in a spacer sheet 18, so that many spacers 15 can be manufactured from the spacer sheet 18 of predetermined dimensions.
