PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To electrically read out unique information on a bullet from the fired bullet to confirm an owner of the bullet in a distribution process and an owner of the bullet just before firing. SOLUTION: In this bullet 10 of ammunition for a firearm, formed by covering a core 11 made out of lead by a metal jacket 16 in a state of exposing a bottom face of the core 11 at a base of bullet 10B, a recessed part 13 is formed on the bottom face of the core 11, and an IC memory chip MT in which an ID cord is written, is loaded and sealed by a filling material. Further in the bullet where the whole bottom face 15 of the core 11 is covered with the metal jacket 16, the IC memory chip MT is held between the core 16 and the metal jacket 16. A function of the IC memory chip MT loaded on the base of bullet 10B which is not deformed even when a head of bullet 10F is deformed in firing off the bullet 10, can be kept.
