PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the obstruction of the flow of a gas due to the presence of irregularities and clearances in a pipeline system, clogging of the inside of a pipeline by the accumulation of foreign matters (reaction products), and the affection of contamination due to the peeling of deposits. SOLUTION: This structure comprises an upstream side connection pipe 10 having a flange 11 at its one end and connected to an upstream side pipe 1 at its other end and a downstream side connection pipe 20 having a flange 21 at its one end and connected to a downstream side pipe 2 at its other end. An inner ring 30 having both side faces in contact with a pipe end faces and inner diameter surfaces 30a continued with the connection pipe inner diameter surfaces 10a and 20a is interposed in clearances between the end faces of the flanges. An outer ring 50 is disposed on an outer peripheral side thereof through an O-ring. The outer ring comprises a rim part 50a having an outer peripheral part positioned on the outer peripheral sides of the flanges and externally brought into contact with the outer peripheral surfaces of the flanges.
