PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turning motion preventing implement for a turning type joint pipe, presenting approximately L-shape, simple in structure, easy to handle and capable of putting the turning type joint pipe with the other side connection part provided turnably to a one-side connection part, into an unturnable state. SOLUTION: The turning motion preventing implement mounted to the turning type joint pipe 1 presenting approximately L-shape with the other side connection part 1B provided turnably to the one-side connection part 1A, comprises a first mounting part 2 of approximately C-shape fitted and locked to the one-side connection part 1A, and a second mounting part 3 of approximately C-shape fitted and locked to the other side connection part 1B. The first mounting part 2 and the second mounting part 3 are provided in a connected state and arranged such that the fitted direction of an open part 2A of the first mounting part 2 to the one-side connection part 1A and the fitted direction of an open part 3A of the second mounting part 3 to the other side connection part 1B are approximately orthogonal to each other. When the first mounting part 2 is fitted and locked to the one-side connection part 1A and the second mounting part 3 is fitted and locked to the other side connection part 1B, the other side connection part 1B is put into the unturnable state to the one-side connection part 1A.
