PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent film excellent in transparency, heat resistance, toughness and surface properties and being suitably usable as an optical film, etc. SOLUTION: The transparent film is composed of 50-99 wt.% N-substituted maleimide-olefin copolymer having a specific structure and having≥1×10<SP>3</SP>and≤5×10<SP>6</SP>number-average molecular weight and 50-1 wt.% graft-modified 1,3-butadiene-styrene copolymer rubber obtained by grafting a styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer to 1,3-butadiene-styrene copolymer rubber particles.
