PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a short fiber metallic composite material, in which a short fiber material is uniformly dispersed, and which has stable material properties and high reliability. SOLUTION: A casting mold 1, that is attached with a movable lower mold 2, is charged with a metallic material 3 and the short fiber material 4 composed of carbon fiber. A plunger 5 is attached on the top of the casting mold 1 to give pressure on the metallic material 3 and the short fiber material 4.
