METHOD OF RECONSTRUCTING COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHIC (CT) IMAGE, CT APPARATUS AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To faithfully reflect the attributes (value and positional information) of alternate data for covering failure data to the generation of data for image reconstruction. SOLUTION: This method of reconstructing a computed tomographic (CT) image obtains back projection data required for reconstitution of the CT image based on projection data obtained by scanning a subject by data interpolation operation from each projection data in the vicinity of front and rear side of a tomographic surface and reconstructs the tomographic image of the subject based on the obtained back projection data. The method carries out data interpolation operation of back projection data h(Ch and Vj) by substituting projection data g(CH2 and Vi) or g(CH4 and Vk) etc. in a prescribed positional relation for projection data g(CH3 and Vj) which comes into a failure in the case of scanning, and using the value of the substituted data and scanning position information (channel and view).
