PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, since a great number of seedling transplanters have forms that seedling supply seats on which operators get on are arranged in order to supply seedlings to seedling supply apparatuses, bodies are miniaturized and lightened, the seats are positioned and installed above engines and transmission cases, the positions of the centers of gravities of the bodies are raised and traveling stability is difficult to keep. SOLUTION: The subject seedling transplanter has constitution that a seedling planting apparatus 6 composed of a pair of right and left seedling supply apparatuses 4 and a seedling-planting bill 5 that keeps and drops seedlings supplied from each of the seedling supply apparatuses 4 and plants the seedlings in soil is installed at the front part of a vehicle body 3 that has a pair of right and left front wheels 1 and a pair of right and left rear wheels 2 and drives and travels, a lifting and lowering apparatus 7 that has the seedling planting apparatus 6 and rises and falls, a transmission case 8, an engine 9, a backward projected operating handle 10, and the like, are laid from the central part of the vehicle body 3 to the rear and the seedling supply seats 11 are mounted at the rear sides of the seedling supply apparatuses 4 and at both sides of the rise and fall apparatus 7.
