PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making fullerenes water-soluble in a short time. SOLUTION: The method for making fullerenes aqueous includes a step for preparing a dispersed aqueous solution of fullerenes by using the fullerenes and a dispersion stabilizing agent and a step for preparing a complex of a calixarene and each fullerene by mixing the obtained dispersed aqueous solution of fullerenes and the calixarene.
