PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handling apparatus capable of coping with the case that the heights of glass bottles at a transfer origin and a transfer destination are different from each other, having excellent operating precision and capable of controlling the transfer of the glass bottles with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The handling machine is provided with a machine table 11 having a lateral rail 12 and lateral restriction parts 13A and 13B, a driving member 15 attached to the machine table, an operation arm 20 rotatably driven by the driving member and having a cam member 25 at the tip, a supporting member 30 having a lateral slider part 31 engaged with the lateral rail to be slidable, a bump part 32 bumped against the lateral restriction part and a vertical groove part 35 crossing the lateral rail at a right angle and a cam plate member 40 which has the upper part engaged with the cam member and formed into a straight line part 42 and the lower part formed into a curved part 43 and on which a cam groove 41 is formed and a bottle holding member 50 having a vertical rod part 51 engaged with the vertical groove part to be slidable, provided with a engaging part 53 engaged with the cam member to integrally move on the upper part of the vertical rod part and having a bottle holding part 60 provided at the lower part of the vertical rod part.
