PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape processing method, a tape processing device, a program, and a storage medium for preparing a tape to be braille-printed by different feed mechanisms by cutting the tape, capable of preventing braille-printing failure due to feed error by adjustment of cut length, while minimizing loss of the tape. SOLUTION: The tape is introduced to a first feed mechanism to be fed for cut length to be cut, and the cut tape is introduced to a second feed mechanism to be fed and braille-printed within the cut length. Based on downstream margin length in the tape feed direction by the second feed mechanism, upstream margin length on the upstream side, and actual braille-printing length, temporary cut length is decided. Positive error length is determined based on the error ratio of feed error by both feed mechanisms. When the upstream margin length is smaller than the error length, difference between the error length and the upstream margin length is added to the temporary cut length.
