PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forklift having a wide visual field of a driver at the time of advancing and retreating a vehicle body to facilitate a driving operation. SOLUTION: In this forklift, a driving cab 5 is elevatably supported on the vehicle body 1 via a mast 4. The mast 4 is provided on a width direction one side part of the vehicle body 1, and an instrument panel 9 of the driving cab 5 and a support 7 for supporting the instrument panel 9 are arranged on a side edge part on the same side as that of the mast 4 of the driving cab 5. Since the driver can drive the forklift at a easy posture of facing to the advancing direction or a half body at the advancing and retreating time, and mast, support and instrument panel on the opposite side of the driving cab 5 disappear from front and rear visual fields, the front and rear visual fields are widen in the horizontal direction and in the lower direction, the driving operation is considerably facilitated.
