PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bench cutter capable of performing cutting work in a small space by fixing or sliding a guide bar with respect to a holder corresponding to the size of a work space and capable of enhancing workability in a case that there is a surplus in space. SOLUTION: The bench cutter 1 has a base part 2 on which a material W to be processed can be placed, the holder 3 erected on the base part 2, a circular saw part 6 equipped with a circular saw blade 5 rotationally driven by a motor (drive part) 4 and a support member 7 for supporting the circular saw part 6 up and down in a shakable manner and is constituted so as to be capable of cutting the material W to be processed by the circular saw blade 5. The guide bar 8 extending almost in parallel to the base part 2 is provided to the holder 3 in a slidable manner and the support member 7 is provided on the guide bar 8 in a slidable manner.
