PURPOSE:To hold a floating rotor at a position capable of always generating the max. thrust with respect to a stator by preventing the movement of the floating rotor in a thrust direction, by mounting a bar part generating thrust component force in a rotor bar. CONSTITUTION:A floating rotor 12 is constituted by providing ridge parts 13a and bent ridge parts 13b, 13b provided from both ends of each of them to the outer peripheral surface of an inner cylinder 13 composed of a magnetic material. When the floating rotor 12 is excessively biased, for example, to the right, the floating rotor 12 rotates by the rotary thrust generated within the range extending over a part of the central ridge parts 13a and the left-handed bent ridge parts 13b but, at the same time, thrust is generated within the range of the right-handed bent ridge parts 13b and one of the component forces thereof acts as the component force in the thrust direction and, by this component force, the rotor 12 is returned to a normal position. Therefore, even when biasing is generated in the floating rotor 12, the thrust component forces generated in the bent ridge parts 13b act, and the normal positional relation always generating the max. thrust is obtained between the rotor 12 and a stator 11. |
