The mold comprises of an upper portion (1a), a bottom portion (1c) and side covers (1b). Porous filter materials (2b,4b,5b) are arranged and supported between the upper and bottom portions. Aligned blocking plates (5a) are supported and arranged between the cover plate (2a) and base plate (4a) arranged between the upper and bottom portions and between the side covers. - An opening (2c) is formed for feeding ceramic or metal casting mass into the mold. The cover plate and base plate are formed with recesses (2d,4d) for vertically supporting the blocking plates. Independent claims are also included for the following: - (A) Use method of the multipart mold; and - (B) Fabrication of the multipart mold.
