PURPOSE:To enable fine adjustment of discharge amount from a pump by increasing/decreasing the area of the pump impeller discharge hole by means of adjustment of an adjusting ring. CONSTITUTION:A control shaft 9 is rotated by power of a servo motor etc., and a control screw ring 7 and an outer receipt ring 6 are slided fore and aft through a gear 8. The outer receipt ring 6 is coupled with several rods 5, and fixed to an internal adjusting ring 4. Motion of this outer receipt ring 6 moves, as it is the adjusting ring 4 through the rods, to increase/decrease the area of peripheral discharge hole of the impeller 2. Thereby fine adjustment of the amount of discharge can be made more stably than with control of a discharge valve.
