<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device which prevents duplicated setting of security to an electronic document to be printed. <P>SOLUTION: A client device 20 sets first security information to an electronic document and forwards the electronic document and the first security information to a printing device 10 to print the electronic document. In addition, the client device analyzes whether second security information is set to the electronic document itself.
