DATA MANAGEMENT DEVICE, DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND DATA MANAGEMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data management technology for realizing easier access to a plurality of data files whose access to different belonging groups are permitted.

SOLUTION: A data management system 1A is provided with an authentication server 50 and a management device(MFP) 10. The authentication server 50 is provided with a storage part 52 for storing belonging information specifying the belonging group of each user, an authentication part 51 for performing user authentication by transferring data with the data management device 10 and a belonging group specification part 53 for specifying at least one belonging group to which the authenticated user is belonging based on the belonging information, and for transmitting information related with at least one belonging group to the data management device 10. An access permission part 32 of the data management device 10 permits the authenticated user belonging to the plurality of belonging groups to perform access to data files whose access permission to the arbitrary belonging group among the plurality of belonging groups is set.
