<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor having a simplified structure in which the high-precision sensor can be easily manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing member 3 is expanded/contracted with respect to the longitudinal direction, according to the environmental temperature. The incident light from a light source is projected to a mirror surface 13 provided to an end of the fixing member 3 from an optical fiber 7 fixed to the other end of the fixing member 3. The reflected light from the mirror surface 13 is made incident to the optical fiber 7.
