<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device which has high tamper resistance for storing information in a storage area in a semiconductor device, and for preventing the information from being leaked to the outside. <P>SOLUTION: This semiconductor device is provided with a nonvolatile storage means 2 for storing data, an arithmetic means 3 for performing an arithmetic operation by using data stored in the storage means 2 and data inputted from the outside through an input means 5 and an output means 4 for outputting an arithmetic result by the arithmetic means 2 as one functional block 6.
